With Corona hitting the economy in 2020, many try to find new perspectives for city centres and vacant department store buildings.
City centres, particularly those in central Europe, were build back up after World War 2 to be tradings centres and places for consume only. Perhaps it is time to think differently and find ways to open the city for non-capitalistic purposes. Meeting halls, free museums, places for arts, music or science – or simply places were people can meet for free.
